All recycling deliveries must enter through Gate 2, the scale-house entrance at 2800 Oakland Avenue. This includes vehicles brought for recycling, scrap metal, automotive materials and appliances.

Refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners require prior review. Refrigerant must be properly recovered before final processing. Confirm preparation and documentation; do not cut lines or release refrigerant. Central A/C coils and condensers are considered only from legally eligible sellers in the business of installing, replacing, maintaining or removing this equipment.

Catalytic Converters — Required Documents
A2Z policy: you must present the registration for the vehicle the converter came from and a valid North Carolina ID. Without both documents, we will not purchase it. No exceptions.
Present documents in person; do not upload ID or registration photos to the form. Every purchase requires seller eligibility, ownership verification and other applicable legal requirements. Providing documents does not guarantee purchase.
Materials We Do Not Accept
- Loose copper, copper tubing, bright copper, wire, insulated copper or aluminum wire and figure-8 cable. Copper radiators: prior review only.
- Propane tanks, gas cylinders, fire extinguishers and other pressurized containers.
- Explosive, flammable, contaminated or hazardous materials and containers with fuel or chemicals.
- Lithium batteries, EV battery packs and batteries outside our automotive lead-acid program.
- Transformers, electric meters, water meters and utility or government-owned items.

Prices depend on the material, grade, condition and market. Batteries, aluminum, converters, vehicles and appliances are assessed separately. Confirm your quote before delivery. Final payment depends on accepted material, verified weight and applicable deductions.
